Writer for health education materials (Material Development Specialist) the Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California (TECC), which ETR operates for the State of California. Experience in tobacco education and prevention is preferred, but not required. Experience using computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Filemaker Pro 4.0, email, the internet, PowerPoint, etc.)

Write journal articles, descriptive and promotional materials for booklets and catalogues. May write some sections of research proposals. Assist in the editing and production of a variety of documents by: examining rough drafts and marking the necessary changes in spelling, grammar, and punctuation; marking the required changes in text to ensure overall document clarity, continuity, and effectiveness. Work directly with internal clients to analyze communication needs, determine objective plan strategies and design effective comprehensive communication products/programs in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Public Radio International (PRI), a $23 Million not-for-profit corporation seeks an organized editor and writer to lead the writing staff of a new daily program. The ideal candidate would have at least five years experience writing and editing comedy. Candidate must also show demonstrated ability leading and managing others and making solid journalistic decisions under extremely tight deadlines. Knowledge of the news is essential; radio experience is a plus.

Public Radio International (PRI), a $23 million not-for-profit corporation seeks a comedy writer for the staff of a new daily program. Responsibilities include writing daily jokes and longer comedic segments. Candidates must have at least three years experience writing comedy and be able to work creatively and efficiently under tight daily deadlines. The ideal candidate will also be a performer with on-air experience. Knowledge of current affairs is essential; radio experience is a plus.

Pitch in writing and editing FAQs on the TurboTax support site as needed. Cull learnings from customer feedback and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve the customer experience.
