We believe that a newspaper should help foster interesting conversations in its community. We’re looking for an advocate for using the Web as a tool to gather, enrich and expand those conversations. The Lincoln (Neb.) Journal Star has created a new editor-level position focusing on our community’s interest in sharing their opinions through different types of media including blogging and other online forums, writing letters to the editor and writing local opinion columns.
