This person will fill a vital role on our Editorial Board, writing editorials and overseeing the evolution of our online opinion section. We’re looking for a journalist who is excited about the emerging opportunities for expanded community debate via the Internet and wants to help The Press Democrat become the driving force behind online commentary for Sonoma County and the North Bay. We’re looking for a wordsmith who enjoys robust debate, can articulate reasonable arguments, respects a diversity of viewpoints, can quickly research complex issues and can write with authority and clarity under deadline pressure.
