The News Tribune is a McClatchy newspaper located in South Puget Sound, 30 miles south of Seattle and within sight of Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks. The local art scene is growing with the recent construction of the Museum of Glass, new galleries and new and stronger performing arts groups. The position will involve occasional forays to the Seattle arts scene and points beyond but is heavily weighted toward local arts.
