The Journal, a member of the Ogden Newspapers Group, is seeking an energetic sports writer to join our five-person team. We cover a three-county area in West Virginia’s fastest-growing region, the Eastern Panhandle. Just more than an hour from Baltimore and Washington, D.C., Martinsburg and the surrounding area is a thriving community rich in history and sports tradition. Primary coverage is preps, but the opportunity to cover West Virginia University and the pros is here. Newspaper experience desired, but we’ll consider talented recent graduates.
